La Vendimia is the name of the young Rioja who makes Palacios Remondo. Remarkably, it consists of equal parts Garnache and Tempranillo. Alvaro Palacios firmly believes in the Garnacha grape, also for Rioja. The wine is described as super Rioja 'new style' that was briefly aged in oak barrels after vinification. It is an exuberant wine with red and black fruit and fine spiciness, earthy tones and soft tannins.
