Michel Chapoutier is the pioneer of biodynamics in Rhône viticulture. He is considered one of France's most respected winemakers. Domaine des Granges de Mirabel's viognier is grown organically; the microclimate is very suitable for it. The vinification takes place in stainless steel barrels. The color of the wine is quite intense yellow with a green hint. In the fragrance are fine apricot and peach aromas and also marmalade. The taste combines roundness and freshness, which are so characteristic of viognier from volcanic soil.
