Buy the LPDE waste bag T70 quickly and cheaply at wholesaler Compliment.nl. These waste bags are very popular in the catering industry and in the food industry. This is because they are very sturdy waste bags with a high tear resistance of T70. That makes this waste bag sturdier than normal. For example, we also sell waste bags of this size with a tear resistance of T30. T30 HDPE Waste Bags is a standard strength. In addition, the pockets water repellent and can tolerate a constant temperature of 80 degrees. The waste bags can also withstand acids and have good load capacity and tensile strength. The waste bag has a size of 90x110cm. and thus has a content of 170 liter. We sell this waste bag per 100 pieces. You will then receive 1 box containing 10 rolls. There are 10 bags on a roll that are easy to tear from a roll.

Everything you need to know about waste bags/garbage bags

It's driving you crazy: you want to buy waste bags, but because of all the abbreviations and sizes you have no idea which waste bag you need. That is why we are happy to explain how you can find the right garbage bag.

What size garbage bag should I have?

The size of the garbage bag is expressed in litres or in the height x width. But which one should you have? A standard garbage bag has a capacity of 60 liter and dimensions of 60x 80cm. This is the size of most trash cans at home. To determine what size waste bag you need, use the following rules of thumb:
  • The waste bag is 30% bigger than the dimensions of the waste bin/trash can. This gives you a little slack to fold the bag over the edge.

Rectangular or square waste bins

  • De width of the bag you calculate by adding the width and the depth of the waste bin. Note: depth here is not from top to bottom (that's the height) but from front to back.
  • De length/height of the bag you calculate by the add half of the longest side of the waste bin to the height of the waste bin. Count here as a margin 20cm at.

Round waste bins

  • De width of the bag you calculate by the diameter from the bin too multiply by 3,14 and that number too divide by 2.
  • De length/height of the bag you calculate by the add half of the longest side of the waste bin to the height of the waste bin. Count here as a margin 20cm at.

What thickness of the waste bag should I have?

  • HDPE stands for High Density Polythylene. Or in plain language: a high density and therefore often somewhat stronger. These garbage bags are often translucent. They are often thin and cannot withstand sharp objects. Think of a sandwich bag. Even if you mainly use a waste bag to keep your container or trash can clean and throw the bag in a larger container, an HDPE waste bag is ideal.
  • LDPE stands for (you may have guessed it) Low-density polyethylene. A somewhat lower density than HDPE and slightly less strong. To compensate for this, they are often a bit thicker. An example of LDPE bags are the standard KOMO garbage bags. These garbage bags are often not transparent, but they are more recyclable.
  • In connection with HDPE and LDPE you often see , My of T. This indicates how thick the garbage bag is. The following applies: the higher the value, the thicker (and stronger) the garbage bag is. 1 Mµ/ My/ T indicates a thickness of 0,000001 meters. Now we can imagine that it is not immediately clear to you which value is suitable for you. To give you a better idea, you can use the following:
    • A (Mµ, My or T) value of 10 to 25 is suitable for e.g GFT, paper towels and anything but sharp objects that can tear the thin plastic. These bags are also good to use in the (small) trash cans at the office.
    • A thickness of 50 or more (like the KOMO bags and the plastic carrier bag from the supermarket) are a bit firmer and ideal for normal household waste. Also for the what larger waste bins at the office you use waste bags with a thickness of 50.
    • For bulky waste and larger waste bins and containers use your waste bags with a thickness of 70 or more. These are strong enough for a bigger (and heavier) content and more resistant to sharp points.
